Dublin Pride Week Volunteer Day which was held on Saturday, April 26, 2014, hosts many fun and rewarding volunteer opportunities for citizens. Check back with us next year for your participation.
Emerald Glen Rose Garden
Help support the rose garden expansion project at Emerald Glen Park by donating either your time, money, or both! By donating $100, you will help move this project forward. As a thank you for your donation, your name will be memorialized on one of nearly 70 rosebushes to be planted as part of the project, and will be featured on a sign posted near the rose garden. Please find details on making a donation here. Thank you for your support!
Non-perishable food items will be collected at both Safeway locations during Dublin Pride Week and at the Volunteer Day event on April 26th. The donations will be presented to food banks which service Dublin, such as the Children's Emergency Council and the Open Heart Kitchen.
On Thursday, May 1, 2014, the City of Dublin is sponsoring a Volunteer Fair at the Dublin Farmers’ Market. Like “Dublin Pride Week,” the Volunteer Fair has been designed to promote and support volunteerism in the Dublin community. If you are a member of a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization, and would like to meet community members interested in volunteering with your group, we invite you to participate in this free event!
