Volunteer Day
Dublin Pride Week Volunteer Day will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2015, with many fun and rewarding volunteer opportunities for citizens such as help with Senior citizen assistance, school and park beautification, and creek clean-up projects.  Due to overwhelming response, registration is now closed.  See you next year!

Food Drive
Non-perishable food items will be collected at both Safeway locations during Dublin Pride Week and at the Volunteer Day event on April 25th.   The donations will be presented to food banks which service Dublin, such as the Children's Emergency Council and the Open Heart Kitchen. 

Poster and Essay Contest
The Dublin Pride Poster Contest is intended for students to demonstrate their artistic talents on water conservation.  All students in grades K-12 are invited to participate.  View all of the 2014 poster contest winners. 

The Dublin Pride Poster Essay Contest is also intended for students to demonstrate their writing talents on water conservation.  All students in grades K-12 are invited to participate.  View all of the 2014 winning essays.

Bay Friendly Gardening and Water Conservation Workshop
Join us on Saturday, May 2, 2015, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Civic Center Regional Meeting Room, 100 Civic Plaza for a workshop to learn how to turn your water-hungry lawn into a beautiful, water-wise garden and more.  Registration is suggested. 

Household Hazardous Waste Collection and Compost Giveaway
Amador Valley Industries and the City of Dublin will once again offer Dublin residents safe disposal for unwanted household toxics and residents can also pick up a free bag of compost. This event is scheduled for Saturday, May 2, 2015.  The event is free however, appointments are required and will be accepted until all appointments are filled.  The number to call is 1-877-422-0096 or for more information.
